Batu Pahat is the second urban township in Johor. As many people know Batu Pahat is the place full of famous temple but Batu Pahat also absolute is a cheaper food paradise which make you unwilling to leave.

1. Han Kee cake & CAFÉ (汉记面包西果屋)


                                     

The famous breakfast and high tea place which everybody know. The most famous food is the otak bread which attract many Malay and India customers to having it. There have many choices to satisfy your taste too like bread, cake, pudding, nasi lemak, and pastries.

This is a store operated by a funny warmth Chinese husband and wife. This roti Canai is the delicious breakfast which everyone loves to come. The taste of Roti Canai is nice and crispy with the full- bodies taste of curry is totally perfect match! It is a 30-year-old shop and has been on the majority of television.

 3. Fishball Noodle (Hakka Noodles)







This shop is located near the Pasar Pagi. One of the favorite food of Batu Pahat lang(人) with the spring fish ball and noodles and the special chili. This style of taste is totally different and difficult to find in the kl place, Negeri Sembilan and above.

4. Kedai Makanan & Minuman Ah Soon (阿顺猪杂汤)




Ah Soon are often fully seat when the shop is open every day. The dishes served with an alluring smell with their pork slices and pork organs and can serve with rice, yum rice, noodle or mee hun. The crowd always nonstop from the shop is open until closed so if you want to eat must be patient to wait it.

 5. 大杯水man jian kueh




This 面煎糕is a crispy versions of the traditional Teochew snack by an old uncle with 30 years’ business. It sprinkles with sugar, margarine and crushed roasted peanuts. This pancake is nice with the savory sweet taste and the crushed roasted peanuts make your mouth full of love.

6. Akbar Cendol



Akbar Cendol are the most famous cendol shops in Batu Pahat. This cendol is very yummy in the hot day. The cendol is made by mung bean flour and juice from pandan leaves and taste heavenly with gula melaka. Besides, you can add on ice cream, red bean, durian, pulut, sweet corn, cincau which you like. Also, the shop has serve ABC ice kacang too.
